FareShare South West
FareShare South West is a local charity fighting food waste and hunger across the South West of England. With warehouses in Bristol and Plymouth, they rescue good-quality surplus food that would otherwise be thrown away and redistribute it to charities, schools, and community groups from Gloucestershire to Cornwall. Working with farmers, suppliers, and retailers, they rescue nutritious food – over half of it being fresh fruit, vegetables, and dairy – that helps people who can’t always afford a healthy diet. By partnering with charities, FareShare South West supports those in need, including children, families, homeless people, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, using food as a bridge to other support services.
